Why I Love Hunting

I think that the new 2010 and 2011 hunting regulations are great. We are now able to kill five deer instead of three. They are two legal bucks and three does.

It has been needed for us to kill more does. They have became over populated. There are more does and now they have to fight for food. And the does get more food than the bucks so there horns are not near as big. And the does need to come down from there curent population. So we are able to kill more deer but the antler restrictions are the same as they have always been.

And the days for hunting are longer for each season. And I can not wait for October first which is the first day for bow season. October fifteenth is the opening day of muzzeloader season. November eighth is the opening day of modern gun season. But squirrel season opened September first.

And I can not wait until it snows because that is my favorite time to go rabbit hunting. And in the winter when you can sit in your deer stand and see your breathe and hear the woods come alive in the morning is one of the most amazing things you can ever experience.

Hunting is also a great source of exercise also. Because you have to climb up ladders and down ladders and up hills and down hills. There is also a lot of walking involved in hunting. You never get hot and sweaty from all of the exercise. It also helps you get in shape after you are lazy all summer.

That is why I love to hunt, it  is good for you, fun, and you help keep everything in balance. I do my part and have fun doing it. And that is why I love to hunt.
