I personally think that our reading requirements for the tenth grade are very unbelievable. To have to read six books per nine weeks is very unbelievable. And frankly I do not like the set requirements. And I am going to tell you why I think so.
The first reason is because I do not like to read. One reason of that may possibly be because I have never really had a book I just loved. Or maybe because I am not very good at reading. But none the less I still do not like to read. But, I despise almost all books. And I mean almost every book on this whole entire earth except for the bible.
The second reason is because I could find twenty thousand things I would rather do than read. Four of those things are go hunting, go fishing, watch TV , or go and work. And I also go to church witch I would rather do than read some stinkin book. Well actually almost all of the activities I do in my life I would rather do than read some book. I would rather have a root canal with no anesthetic . Those are just some of the things I would rather do than read.
And the last reason is I live a very busy lifestyle. I am in an abundant amount of school activities. Two of those are FFA and Key Club. I also have a lot of homework that I have to do, since I am in algebra 2. I also work on three farms in the time I am not at school. And I am a very avid outdoorsman. I am constantly going hunting or fishing . I would stop and read if I had the time, well who am I kidding no I would not.
